Estacio Uno Boracay

Mickey was so sweet to take me on a breakfast date at Estacio Uno while we were in Boracay.

Estacio Uno stands where the old Waling-Waling hotel used to be in Station 1.  We spent several summer vacations here in the past and having breakfast here certainly brings back a lot of memories.

Here's the sinful (but delightful) part of breakfast

and the healthy side of it...

Estacio Uno sends off a very calm vibe.  I love the muted tones that were used in the hotel's interiors, the mother of pearl wall installations and the sand-colored resort furniture.  It makes you want to stay a little longer.

After breakfast, we asked the concierge if there were rooms available to see.  Luckily, they had two different room categories available to show us.

This is the Seaside Suite, their highest room category.  Isn't this room beautiful? It's so, calming and relaxing.

This room is also known as their Honeymoon Suite.  That explains the bath tub in the middle of the room.

The room also opens to the hotel pool.  How convenient (and fun!)

This is their Deluxe with pool access room category.  Again, beautiful and calming... I want to take this room and put this inside our condo.  I don't think I'll ever go out of the room!

This room category also has direct pool access...

How convenient to just slip into the pool at any time of the day

After checking the rooms, we went up to the 2nd level where the Sky Lounge is - a favorite spot
among beach goers  to catch Boracay's beautiful sunset.

It was a lovely day.  We had the chance to meet and chat with Estacio Uno's owner, Mr. Marcelino Florete, Jr. who invited us to see his other new hotel in Station 2 called Boracay Uptown.  It is set to open 3rd week of July this year. He made a few calls and told us that someone is going to meet us when we get there.

Mr. Florete is into the restaurant business (Dulcinea, Galileo Enoteca, Sbarro, among others), hotel business (Estacio Uno, Boracay Uptown, and building more in Bohol and Palawan) and jewelry business (F&C Jewelry) among many others.

We also met the talented and beautiful Cynthia Almario who happens to also be in the resort that time (she and her sister Ivy are Estacio Uno's interior designers).

Summer is definitely here and if you're planning on going to Boracay for a vacation, don't miss out on the beautiful accommodations at Estacio Uno.

Estacio Uno is located in Station 1, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, Philippines.  For inquiries and reservations, call their Manila office at (+63-2) 556-4071 or Boracay office at (+63-36) 288-5558/60.
