What I'm Glad for

I'm pretty sure a lot of you have mastered some really good food recipes over the quarantine. I see them all on Instagram and I take my hat off to all of you who have soldiered on for your families during the quarantine. For now, it seems we're up for a bit of time again until an effective vaccine arrives. But until then, there is nothing more precious than spending quality time with family, learning and sharing new skills and perhaps getting the greatest surprise of our lives when we actually do something we never thought we'd do. Being in quarantine is a hard thing, but it is really up to us how we choose a day would become. I'd say, be happy! or in this case be Glad.

Be glad for the many things that perhaps we took for granted when the world forced us to go on a fast spin with it. Now, it is a time to pause, and we really don't have much of a choice. So, until then, let's be Glad for this time for all the good things that it may bring. Usually, these are the intangible ones, like quality time, discovering new skills (or shall I say talents we never thought we ever had), re-connecting with friends and family, whom we might not even see as often as we want to, but because of technology, we are now able to catch up with. Becoming creative when celebrating life's milestones such as birthdays, anniversaries, most especially our everyday mini wins, which pulls us forward every single day.

Speaking of glad, I am also glad that Glad recently sent us some really good kitchen helpers for us at Casa Villa. These are also our kitchen staples: freezer gallon bags, cling wrap, aluminum foil and garbage bags.  Thank you Glad for these wonderful kitchen products and for making our lives easier in the kitchen whether in quarantine or even beyond.

For your Glad kitchen needs, find them in leading groceries and supermarkets or on their official shop in Lazada.
