Namnam at Fairview Terraces

I must admit, the very first thing that attracts me to enter a restaurant is the interior design.  I believe that if a restaurateur invests on the aesthetics, then the food quality will also be of great standard (in the many times of our experience in dining out, this is quite true).

While we were on the Northern part of Quezon City over the weekend, we saw a new shopping complex called Fairview Terraces.  We decided to stop and check out some of  the restaurants and shops.  It was near lunch time, and having skipped breakfast, we were officially on the hunt for a new restaurant to try.  While choosing among the restaurants at the Ground Floor, we finally chose Namnam.  The restaurant is part of the The Moment Group of restaurants and serves Filipino (comfort food) dishes.

I love Namnam's high ceilings, chandeliers, lamp-post lighting style on the booth areas and the aqua and white color combination of the seating which is so inviting and relaxing to the eyes.

In Namnam, they have 3 different sizes for each dish, you can order food that is good for 1 (small), good for 3 (medium) and good for 6 (large).  Okay, so the dilemma here is that it's just me and Mickey dining today.  The waiter suggested to order for the small-sized serving since it's more than enough for one.  So, we took his advice but ordered 3 different dishes for variety.

We ordered Laksa-Style Halaan Soup with Crispy Sili Leaves and Mais
(We really enjoyed the Asian Fusion style of this dish!)

Of course, we had to order from the recommendations list too!

We ordered the Overloaded Garlicky Chicken & Pork Belly Adobo
(If you love garlic, this dish is a sure fire hit!)

We also couldn't resist ordering some Classic Filipino dishes too!

Crispy Pork Binagoongan
(The pork had the right crispiness and their home-made bagoong tastes so good!)

Medium-sized Garlic rice bowl to share
(This was a bit too big for two, a small-sized order may be enough next time).

We really enjoyed the delicious comfort food at Namnam!

If you're craving for some Filipino comfort food dishes, Try Namnam at the Ground Level of Fairview Terraces, Quirino Highway corner Maligaya Drive, Novaliches, Quezon City (they also have branches in Greenbelt and Mall of Asia).
